i had a lovely stay at the jacobean. the staff were always friendly and helpful, making everything feel welcoming. the location is perfect for quick visits, and the nice restaurant offered a good breakfast. i especially appreciated the service from sam, who made sure my family had rooms close together and set up nicely for us. the cleanliness of the rooms was also commendable.

The bathroom had a dirty wall and a hole in the door, which gave an overall impression of neglect. There were barely any power outlets near the bed, and the absence of a lift made lugging luggage up the stairs annoying. I also encountered a peculiar door locking mechanism that was confusing and potentially unsafe. While the location was decent, the external appearance and the general state of cleanliness left much to be desired.

Had a great time with friends! We visited the National Exhibition Centre for a fantastic show and also explored the local area. The staff were super helpful, and the rooms were comfy and clean. Breakfast was filling, and the atmosphere was perfect for our group. Definitely recommend checking out the dining menu! Don't miss the garden seating!
